B.G. Hubbs- Founder & Operator

 

B.G. Hubbs founded Community Tree Care in 1974 as a Forestry student at the University of Kentucky. Since then he has grown CTC into Central Kentucky's premier tree care provider.
B.G. earned a bachelor's degree in Forestry in 1976 from the University of Kentucky and became a Certified Arborist in 1993.  He is a member of the International Society of Arboriculture, past President of the Society of Commercial Arboriculture, past President of the Kentucky Arborists Association and a board member of the Central Kentucky Ornamental & Turf Association.  While not running the business, B.G. enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, swimming and playing his musical instruments.

Carol Hubbs- Horticulturalist & Certified Arborist

Carol attended the University of Kentucky earning her bachelor's degree in Horticulture in 1977.  In 1993, Carol became the first female Certified Arborist in the state of Kentucky.  She enjoys birding, cooking, gardening, crocheting, traveling and spending time with her family.

Wayne Oney- Foreman

​

Wayne has over 35 years of experience in tree care.  He joined Community Tree Care in 1987 as a tree climber and bucket truck operator. He presently supervises and trains new crew members. 
Wayne is also a Kentucky Certified Pesticide Applicator.
